Hey, I’m Lina. I dig through Steam’s weirder corners and share the games that surprised me—in a good way. If you like the offbeat stuff too, you’re in the right place.
I started LinaPlays because I kept stumbling across strange, charming, or just plain odd games on Steam — the kind you don’t see in big reviews.
This blog is my way of sharing those finds. No filters, no hype — just honest thoughts from someone who loves poking around the weird corners of gaming.
I’m not a pro critic or anything. I just write like I’d tell a friend. If that sounds like your vibe too, stick around.
It’s still a small blog, but hey — all good things start small.

Here’s where I drop my freshest thoughts on the games I’ve been playing lately. Sometimes weird, sometimes wonderful — always honest. I write these as if I’m chatting with a friend who just asked, “So, what’ve you been playing?”

Not everything fits into a full review — so here’s a space for the small stuff. Random thoughts, little updates, half-formed ideas. It’s messy, honest, and kind of like a game diary I accidentally made public.

Sometimes I get game suggestions, sometimes I stumble across something weird at 2 AM — either way, here’s a peek at what’s sitting in my backlog and quietly waiting to become a full review soon.
Something about this game feels... quiet but heavy. I don’t fully get it yet, but I’m weirdly drawn to it. Might be perfect for one of those rainy weekends.
This world looks like it was made by someone who dreams in colors I’ve never seen. No clue what’s going on, but I want in.
I’ve started this twice and always stopped. Not because it’s bad — maybe because it’s big. But I think this time, I’ll actually stay for the whole ride.
Honestly? I’m scared of this game. Not the monsters — the systems. But it looks too fun to ignore forever. Wish me luck (and potions).

Honestly? Nope. Sometimes I just get the vibe early on — whether I’m into it or not. If I do finish something, I’ll usually mention it. If I don’t, I’ll mention why. Not everything needs a full playthrough to leave an impression.
Weird ones. Story-heavy ones. Games that make me pause and go “what even is this?” I don’t stick to one genre, but I do love stuff that surprises me — even if it’s messy.
A bit of both. I write them like I’d tell a friend: honestly, without trying to sound smart. I’ll mention bugs, awkward mechanics, or what made me unexpectedly laugh. It’s not deep critique, it’s “I played this and here’s what happened.”
Yep. I’m just a person with a mildly chaotic Steam library and no self-control during sales. If that ever changes, I’ll say so — but this blog is just me for now.
Because I hate numbers like “7.3.” One person’s 7 is another’s 10, and honestly, it changes depending on my mood and snack situation. I’d rather just tell you what worked and what didn’t.
Yes please! I can’t promise I’ll get to it fast, but I love hearing what other people are into. Drop me a message — just don’t be mad if it takes me a while (I get distracted easily, especially by frogs in armor).
